Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Limited announced the appointment of Prof. Amit Karna as an Additional Independent Director to its board, effective October 21, 2026, subject to shareholder approval. Prof. Karna, who is a Professor of Strategy at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), has also been appointed as a member of the company's Audit Committee for a period of five consecutive years.
