Avantel proposes merger of Imeds Global, expanding into defense and cybersecurity sectors As On :18-Sep-26 18:03

Avantel Limited is proposing two corporate actions: an amendment to its Articles of Association to expand its business scope into areas including medical electronics, defense technology, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, and the merger of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Imeds Global Private Limited, into Avantel itself. The merger, considered a related-party transaction conducted at arm’s length, will consolidate operations and simplify governance, with no share exchange required due to Avantel’s full ownership of Imeds Global. As of March 31, 2026, Imeds Global reported revenue of Rs 160.32 crore and a net worth of Rs 2,182.83 crore, while Avantel Limited’s revenue stood at Rs 22,135.23 crore and its net worth at Rs 35,650.45 crore. The move is expected to have no impact on Avantel’s shareholding pattern.
